Ana Jeinić, who took over from Claudia Gerhäusser in 2021, understands architecture in a broad, political and practice-oriented sense. She is particularly interested in the technologization and automation of spatial processes. The goal of her work is to establish a discursive practice that goes beyond mere critique (of the present) and contributes to the collective imagination of future alternatives.
In 2022, Jeinić will cooperate intensively with the section of Social Politics. Together they are developing the series and exhibition under the title Sicherheit wieder sprechen. In addition, the architecture program will be supplemented by an excursion related to the theme - as well as by cooperations with architectural initiatives in Graz.
