Floating between instruments for children and construction machines, in fragmentary memory of "Maschinenmusik", Arne Glöckner will take the stage again at GiK after several years of abstinence.
The GIK is the Graz adaptation of the curated improvisation evenings at Vienna's Celeste, established since 2005 by American jazz alto saxophonist Marco Eneidi (✝︎ 2016).
Since January 2017, this series, which always takes place on the last Monday of the month, has established itself as a new hub for improvised, contemporary and experimental music in Graz, thanks to numerous illustrious guests and a highly diverse but cohesive field of musicians and audiences.
